Paul Fortin, MD, is a Rheumatologist with clinical epidemiology training. He holds an appointment as Senior Scientist at the Toronto Western Research Institute and is the Director of Clinical Research for the Arthritis Centre of Excellence. Dr. Fortin’s research expertise is in outcome studies of chronic rheumatic diseases, especially systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. He is the chair of the Canadian Network for Improved Outcomes in SLE (CaNIOS).
